If you did not know I am Kevin Carey your SFI Team Leader. I have been with SFI for 7 years now and it has been a steady climb of success.
My thought today is that seeing that I am old school when it comes to sales and marketing. I know there are thousands of people out there that are more skilled at the new electronic age. Having all of all these new tools at hand such as e-mail, social media and online advertising you would think that it would make life in sales and marketing to grow a business much easier.
The one this people forget is that we get stuck behind these computers and don’t socialize with people anymore.
Do you see all the people walking around with their smart phones. Walking with their heads down texting or on facebook. Reading e-mails while their walking!
This is were we are loosing the socialization in our business. I meet many people everyday that can tell quite a story on their hand held device. But when it comes to face to face communication? their lost.
I am out communicating with people every day. How many new customers do you set up a day that purchase products on a regular basis from you?
I set up at least 1 new buying customer a day and contact at least 10 more potiential contacts. Just by walking talking.
So lets combine old school like myself and new school social media from other members and LEARN as a team how to grow a business. If we do this we will all be successful.
